Hochhauser Blatter Architecture and Planning is a multi-disciplinary architecture and planning firm founded in 1990 by Jan R. Hochhauser, AIA, and Jay Blatter, AIA. Both principals have brought to the firm extensive experience in the areas of land-planning, pre-development analysis, land-use entitlement work, architectural design and project management. Senior Housing

Hochhauser Blatter has extensive experience in the planning and design of health care and housing for the elderly. Current projects include congregate care, assisted living, skilled nursing, Alzheimer's and Dementia care programs as well as the master-planning of comprehensive Continuing Care Communities. The firm has also played an active role in re-engineering existing facilities to meet the modern prototype of retirement living.
